The Pumpkin Patch *** El Calabazar

                          A visit to the Pumpkin Patch  *********** Una visita al calabazar

Monday we went down to the pumpkin parch to choose the perfect pumpkins for Halloween.  After the students chose their pumpkins, they examined them for science, and drew still life portraits of their pumpkins.  It was a lot of fun.

Lunes fuimos a visitar el calabazar para eligir los calabazas perfectos para el día de las brujas. Despues de eligir sus calabazas, los alumos les examinaron para la clase de ciencia, y les dibujaron retratos de los calabazas. Lo pase muy bien.

Our First Field Trip **** Nuestro primer día de campo

Fuimos a una Stop & Shop, para ver quien trabaja en nuestro communidad, que tipo de comido podemos comprar, y todos los lugares diferentes de una supermercado.  Hemos conocido los trabajadores del supermercado, y nuestra guía Lana nos han dado muchos regalos del supermercado como galletas y libros sobre el salud y la comida. ¡Fue un día fantasitco!

                                                        Our first field trip day!

We went to a Stop & Shop to see who works in our community, what kinds of food we can buy, and all the different parts of a supermarket.  We met the workers in the supermarket, and our guide Lana gave us lots of gifts, like bookies, and books about health and food. It was a great day!

                              For some of the students it was their first time on a school bus!

                Lana was our tour guide for the trip. The kids met many workers in the supermarket.
        Lana fue nuestra guía para el viaje. Los estudiantes coniciden los trabajadores del supermercado.

            Chris is hungry for a salad!  Chris tiene unas ganas de incarle el diente en la ensalada!

                 We went to see the stockroom.  Fuimos a ver el cuarto de almacenaje

                   Bob showed us how they recycle in a supermarket.
                   Bob nos muestre como reciclan en una supermercado.

                            We went in the big refridgerator! ¡Entrabamos en la nevera grande! 

                                                  What a great day! ¡Que un día magnifico!
